Pimp Your Favorite Communities, Fests or Challenges!

(Broken up roughly into a few categories.)

For cons, I've had great times at fanworks and con_txt.

Some multifandom communities I really enjoy on here include:
fancake - for recs
fandomcalendar - for exchanges
historium - for historical fandom news

For fandom-specific communities, britcomcom (British comedy) and lettherebelove (Oasis RPF) are both good stuff.

I have great fondness for themed multi-fandom fests and exchanges (I have not participated in really any single fandom exchanges, now that I think about it) and love a strong theme. Some favorites that I have enjoyed either participating in or just reading are:
smutswap (porn!)
relationshipping (incest!)
nonconathon (noncon!)
unusual_bearings (mpreg*)
*and other various non-traditional pregnancy situations
