due South Seekrit Santa 2021 - Dear Santa letter
Dear Santa,
First of all, thank you for creating for me! This is my first Seekrit Santa, and I am pretty fresh to the fandom, so whatever you create, it will be pretty new and exciting to me. I have some likes and dislikes here, but in general I have broad tastes. If you have certain kinks and tropes that are especially close to your heart or an idea you are inspired to write/draw/vid, unless I listed them as something I specifically DNW, go for it. I will probably love it! I have no strong feelings about including any holiday themes or not, include them or don’t as you wish.

What can I say other than I ship it like burning? Honestly as long as my DNWs aren't hit, go nuts with these two. I have some prompts and likes and starting points, but feel free to follow your passion on this one. I am more than happy to receive smut for this pairing, so get as graphic and weird as you want.

- Them having sex before they manage to talk about their feelings or relationship.
- Closets, closetedness, internalized homophobia, struggles and joys of queerness and what it means for them, self-discovery
- Big and intense feelings: loneliness, longing, struggling to talk about feelings, brokenness, the baggage of past relationships, baggage of family and parents, love.
- Them being old together, aging and all that comes with it (extra love for some old man sex. Extra extra love if it's a first-time)
- Any time setting: during canon, immediately post-canon, a long time post-canon
- Only getting together many, many years post-canon. What have they been doing in the meantime? What finally gave them the push to make a move?

- My only request for art is to go as raunchy as you are comfortable. Maybe this means a tasteful pin-up or a flirty kiss, maybe this means graphic pornography. Wherever you land, I’d like to see it! All my likes, including my smutty likes, are also things I also like in art, if you want something more in the way of prompts.
Vids
- I’ve never made a vid (though I have watched and loved many), so I am finding it a little difficult to articulate exactly what I like in a vid. But it is safe to say, if you made me a shippy vid, I would probably love it, and I would leave the music and stylistic decision up to you! Feel free to take any of my general likes or ship specific likes as a thematic starting point, if you would like.
Ray Kowalski/Stella Kowalski
Even though I know it's doomed, I find myself rooting for these two kids, and hope that post-series they might get to know each other as friends eventually. I am not particularly interested in seeing their relationship survive longer than it does or them staying together forever. Happy to read smut for them, if you want to go that direction! I am into pretty much in every stage of their relationship that we didn't get to see, so I would love to read:
- Something lighter and sweeter in the earlier days of their dating or marriage when things were good and they were in love (which I do think they were then).
- How was their wedding? The wedding night? (Maybe it went great! Maybe it was a disaster!)
- Something angstier as their marriage falls apart and the divorce itself. If you go this route, I ask that you don't make Stella out to be evil or cruel or totally at fault. However, I am fine if both of them, as two people in a marriage that is falling apart, are not necessarily on their best behavior. Maybe some hate (or at least, love/hate) sex.
- Some inadvisable post-divorce sex with the ex
- This would be more "Ray Kowalski & Stella Kowalski", but them becoming friends (did they really get a chance to be friends before they started dating?) or at least finding some kind of peace with one another post-series. Totally fine if this one is mixed in with Benton Fraser/Ray Kowalski.
Francesca Vecchio/Ray Vecchio
Vecchiocest! I love Frannie and I love Ray V and I would like to see them kiss. While I would be down for leaning into the messed up nature of the ship, I am only interested in this ship being consensual. I do not want it to be Ray abusing or taking advantage of Frannie. Rather, I am into this ship as two people who had a difficult childhood (parts of which they share and parts of which were probably very different considering the age and gender difference) doing something they both want and they both feel weird about it. Once again, happy to receive smut for this pairing! Some ideas:
- A post-canon exploration of this ship. Maybe they have never kissed/hooked up/admitted anything/etc. before, but now after Ray’s experience in Vegas, things are...different.
- Or, if you want to go pre-canon maybe they DID get up to some stuff pre-canon and now they are both carrying that secret. If you go pre-canon or want to explore their childhoods, I would prefer if Francesca is no younger than 15 for any sex that occurs.
- A fic dealing with Frannie’s pregnancy/ies. What feelings are they both having about it after growing up with the dad they did? As a request specific to this pairing, I would prefer Ray not be the biological father of Frannie’s kids. However, if you wanted to have Frannie becoming pregnant by somebody else as a thing that motivates them to get together, I would be into that. After all, it’s not like he can get her pregnant now that she already is…
- Something on the darker side, especially anything getting into their childhood and teenage years, either by setting the story in that time period, or the two of them talking about it with one another (maybe talking about some aspect of it for the first time?)
- Something with a sweeter tone, that could be mistaken for sibling bonding if not for some flirtiness or the feeling of a secret. Maybe sneaking in some kisses when nobody's looking?
